NO Burning in Marion County
Currently, there is NO burning allowed in Marion County. This means NO burning of trash, leaves, or anything whatsoever. Burn permits are NOT available at this time.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is warning everyone that if you are caught burning, you will be fined up to $2,500 and could face jail time. There are multiple fires that fire departments are currently working to keep under control.
