Burn Bans Remain in Place
Burn bans continue in our area, with state-issued bans in Grundy, Franklin, and Sequatchie Counties, Walker County, GA, and throughout Alabama.
Currently, there is NO burning allowed in Marion County. This means NO burning of trash, leaves, or anything whatsoever. Burn permits are NOT available at this time.
If you are caught burning in a banned area, you could be fined up to $2,500 and face possible jail time.
