Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office works with Drug Task Force in Lewis Chapel operation

The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office worked with the 12 th Judicial District Drug Task Force for several weeks on a drug investigation which has landed several people in jail and leaves others on the run and wanted by authorities.

The investigation focused on illegal drugs, primarily meth, being distributed in the Lewis Chapel community of Sequatchie County and it led to several drug related arrests, or warrants issued, and the confiscation of illegal narcotics from various people and locations.

Arrested were the following:

Chelsea Veola Harvey: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine/Criminal Impersonation
Jessie James Chadwick: Felony Possession Of Meth/ Poss. of a firearm in commission of a felony
Daniel Robert Nelms: Felony Possession of Meth/Altering plates
Kenneth Dean Bledsoe: Possession of Meth for Resale/Poss. of a firearm in commission of a felony
Matthew Loy Worley: Possession of drug paraphernalia/Evading Arrest/Reckless Endangerment

James Wesley Webb and Elizabeth Ann Higgins have been on the run since early December
when authorities served narcotics search warrants at their residences confiscating suspected meth
from both locations.

Also wanted in connection with this investigation are Patrick Lewis Withrow and Logan Delay.

Sheriff Bill Phillips advised the Sheriff’s Office is very fortunate to have partners like the D.T.F.,
the T.B.I. Narcotics Unit, Dunlap P.D. and others in their efforts to remove the dangerous drugs
from the streets of our county.
