The Dunlap Police Department and the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office have received numerous complaints about drivers not stopping for school bus stop signs. IT’S NOT JUST A STOP SIGN, IT’S A CHILD’S LIFE!
Due to the overwhelming number of complaints, the police department and the sheriff’s office will conduct another “School Bus Blitz” soon. The departments will place an officer on random school buses to observe driver’s violations. Those officers will then notify other officers of the vehicles so citations can be issued. Please SLOW DOWN and BE AWARE!!
