Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12 & 13, 2024, Daus Mountain Road will be closed to thru traffic. Two tiles will be replaced beginning on Tuesday at 8:00 am. The road will reopen at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
The third tile will be replaced on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, beginning at 8:00 am. The road will be closed from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The road will be closed from Layman Road on top to the first home at the bottom of Daus Mountain.
An alternate route to exit from Daus Mountain is to Hwy. 399 to Grundy County, then Cagle Mountain or down Palmer Mountain.
