Hamilton County Attorney Arthur C. Grisham, Jr. has been temporarily suspended for failing to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility.
He did not respond to the board concerning one complaint of misconduct, they stated in a press release.
A Supreme Court rule requires the immediate suspension of an attorney’s license to practice law if they fail to respond to a complaint of misconduct. The board did not clarify what his misconduct was.
Arthur C. Grisham, Jr. may not accept any new cases and must stop representing clients by May 29, 2024.
His suspension will remain in effect until the Supreme Court dissolves or modifies it.
According to the board, Grisham may request dissolution or modification of the suspension by petitioning the Supreme Court.
