On Monday, May 6th, 2024, a search warrant was obtained for a residence on N Bluff Circle in Monteagle. During the execution of the search warrant, drug substances were seized along with a large amount of Drug Paraphernalia used for consuming Fentanyl.
Three small children were residing at the residence. During the investigation, substances obtained field tested positive for an illegal narcotic and will be sent to forensics for confirmation. Arrest warrants were obtained for Cheyenne McFarland, Robert Cantrell, Stewart Lamport, Kimberly Seagroves, and Valorie Lamport. Four individuals have drug-related charges, and all five are charged with Child Endangerment. Grundy County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Monteagle Police took all subjects into custody. All three children are in DCS custody.
Grundy County, as a whole, has experienced 3 overdoses involving Fentanyl in less than 4 days. Investigators have obtained cell phones and other evidence involving these overdoses and will continue to investigate these matters as tips are reported.
Be assured that if there is evidence of you selling narcotics, a search warrant will be requested for your house as well. We will surround your property, enter your house, and continue to seize this death drug.
