Each of Tennessee’s 95 counties recorded lower unemployment rates in April, and each came in at or below 4.1%, according to newly released data from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Bledsoe County had the second-highest jobless rate at 3.9%, which was 0.3 of a percentage point lower than the rate it recorded in March.
Williamson County recorded the state’s lowest unemployment rate for the month at 2%.
Marion County fell from 3 percent in March to 2.8 percent in April. Sequatchie County dropped from 3.2 percent to 2.8 percent. Grundy County was 3.8 percent in March and went down to 3.4 percent in April and Hamilton County stood at 2.5 percent in April, it was 2.9 percent in March.
