Postal Truck Fire at Loves Travel Stop in Jasper

On Monday, at 4:45 PM the Jasper Fire Department and the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a truck fire at Loves Travel Stop.
A Unites States Postal Service semi-truck was on fire when the departments arrived at Loves Travel Stop just off Interstate 24. Firemen began to aggressively battle the fire and extinguished the truck.
Several firefighters suffered from heat exhaustion while battling the fire, but none required medical care.
