Interstate 24 just inside the Georgia state line opened back up just after 8 a.m. CT, Thursday after a huge collision. The roadway opened around nine hours after the crash happened, and authorities say it involved a total of 12 vehicles, including six commercial motor vehicles.
The crash on Interstate 24 eastbound occurred just before 11 p.m. according to the Georgia State Patrol. No other information has been released. GSP is in charge of the investigation.
