The Tennessee Department of Agriculture confirms that crews have contained a 95-acre fire that started over the weekend along the Marion County side of Signal Mountain.
TDOA says the Woodland Way Fire along Signal Mountain was 100% controlled Monday afternoon.
Bulldozers and hand crews were used to stop the fire from spreading.
They say rain and increased humidity helped slow the spread of the fire Sunday evening.
TDOA says the cause of the fire is currently undetermined.
