Champion Recovery Community began in 2010 in the Marion County Jail, filling a desperate need to reach women in crisis. They have expanded their reach far and wide in 12 years. This nonprofit organization has expanded its outreach to include women currently incarcerated and those not with the free recovery program. Champion Recovery Community provides 12-week programs for interns approximately three times a year.
The River 104.9 and Champion Recovery Community are combining efforts for an on-air radio auction fundraiser. Many great items will be up for bid on Saturday, November 4, from 10 AM to noon. It will be a great way to shop for the holidays and help a great cause.
