Fire in Dunlap on Friday

At 1:55 PM on Friday (11/3/2023), the Dunlap Fire Department reported to a grass brush fire behind residences on the southern portion of Main Street. Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire near the homes.

The fire started when a homeowner was burning a small brush pile. Dunlap Police assisted with the fire.

At 7:44 PM, Dunlap Fire responded back to the fire after it rekindled. The fire had spread into a large brush pile. Firefighters were again able to extinguish the fire.
