The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Department of Transportation say one lane of Highway 111 remains open after a sinkhole formed after last week’s storms.
TDOT has requested the road remain open with 1 lane (righthand shoulder) Northbound. Please use caution, slow down in this area, and be mindful that emergency crews are on the scene!
This is on State Hwy 111 at Jones Gap Rd, where a sinkhole is forming near the Lewis Chapel Rd exit.
