A portion of Marion County lost electric power early Monday morning. Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative crews responded to the Jasper Substation to identify and resolve the problem.
At one point during the outage, 3,062 customers were without power, meaning 18.15% of Marion County.
The Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative announced at 8 AM that the issue had been resolved and power was restored. The SVEC thanked everyone for their patience during the outage.
