Chatt. State Receives Healthcare Education Grant

Chattanooga State is one of 20 state schools that have received a grant to support the growth of Tennessee’s rural health care workforce by increasing access to education and careers in healthcare.

The $2 million Rural Health Care Pathways Expansion Grant, provided by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, aims to develop or expand health care career pathway programs that connect rural students with opportunities in healthcare, behavioral health, and dental health professions.
