Multiple Injuries in Memorial Day Crash

On Memorial Day, at approximately 2:50 PM, the Dunlap Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Rankin Ave and Old York Hwy North, near the offices of SVEC. The driver of one vehicle was trapped inside. Firefighters utilized the “Jaws of Life” to remove the driver’s door, and Puckett EMS assisted in removing the patient for transport. All injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.

Sequatchie County deputies assisted with traffic control, and the Dunlap Police investigated the accident.
