On Monday afternoon, the Dunlap Police Department and the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the Sequatchie County Schools, conducted their first Bus Blitz this school year.
They were looking for vehicles that did not stop for school buses loading and unloading children. A Dunlap Police officer also rode one of the buses, watching for violators.
Law enforcement will continue conducting these Bus Blitzes throughout the school year to ensure children’s safety.
