GRUNDY COUNTY SR-2 (US-41) TDOT Contractor westbound from LM 7.2 to LM 7.4: During daylight hours on 09/15/25 and 09/16/25, TDOT contractors will close the westbound lane and maintain a single flagging-controlled lane in both directions through the work zone.
GRUNDY COUNTY SR-56 from Montgomery Street to Des Church Road resurfacing: The contractor will close one lane during daylight hours from 5 AM to 9 PM for paving and related operations as needed. Flaggers will be present during the lane closure operations, and at least one lane will remain open at all times.
MARION COUNTY SR-2 (DIXIE LEE AVE.) Utility Work both directions from LM 30.59 to LM 30.74: Flagger-assisted lane closures on SR-2(Dixie Lee Ave) at the Sullivan’s Landing TWRA Boat ramp. Motorists should reduce speed and be prepared to stop. Trucks, arrow board/message boards, flaggers, and barrels/cones will be present, through 09/10/25 from 9 am – 2 pm.
MARION COUNTY I-24 from 156.4 to 160.2 resurfacing: The contractor will perform resurfacing operations on I-24 EB and WB in Marion County from MM 156.4 East of SR-28 to MM 160.2 West of the Tennessee River. This work will require single lane closures leaving one lane open in each direction each night worked. Resurfacing operations will be Sunday through Thursday from 6 PM CT – 5 AM CT. Please use caution when driving through the work zones.
MARION COUNTY SR-156 bridge repair over Tennessee River, LM 15.2: The contractor will be performing painting operations and structural repairs on the SR-156 bridge over the Tennessee River in South Pittsburg. This work will require a traffic shift, leaving both lanes open to traffic. There will also be intermittent lane closures controlled by flaggers, leaving one lane open. MARION COUNTY SR-27 (US-72) resurfacing from the Alabama State Line (LM 0) to north of SR-156 (LM 2.7): The contractor will be performing paving operations on SR-27 EB and WB in Bledsoe County from the Alabama state line to north of SR-156. This work will require single lane closures, leaving one lane open in each direction during daytime work hours. Please use caution when driving through the work zones.
BLEDSOE COUNTY SR-30 and SR-443, the grading, drainage, stream relocation, widening, and resurfacing on Summer City Road: The contractor will perform grade work and widening on Summer City Road in Bledsoe County. This work will narrow the lanes at LM 2.0 and LM 4.3 and leave both lanes open to traffic. Please slow down and use caution when driving through the work zone.
