Three People Injured in Head-On Collision Saturday on Hwy 41

Saturday afternoon Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to a head-on collision on Hwy 41.

Upon arrival firemen and police found two people entrapped in one vehicle. Extrication procedures started immediately. After extricating the patients, they were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the second car received minor injuries.

One of the vehicles is some type of emergency SUV but was unnamed in a Facebook post from Haletown Fire and Rescue.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol in charge of the investigation.
