Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has received reports of scam calls where the caller ID shows Grundy County Jail and claims that a warrant will be issued unless payment is made.

This is NOT true.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and Grundy County Jail will NEVER call you to demand money, gift cards, or payments to avoid a warrant or arrest.

If you receive a call like this:

  • Do not send money
  • Do not give out personal information
  • Hang up
