A Jackson County, Alabama man was arrested Thursday, January 6, 2026, on charges related to child sexual abuse material.
Jail records in show 42-year-old Michael Burrus is facing 20 counts of possession of obscene material involving minors. Court documents indicate the charges stem from an investigation dated December 12, 2025.
According to those documents, investigators allege Burrus knowingly possessed obscene material involving a person under the age of 17.
