Tennessee’s Precious Cargo Program allows drivers with disabilities or medical conditions to add a confidential note to their vehicle registration to alert law enforcement or medical personnel in the event of a traffic stop or an emergency.
If you want to disclose your disability and need for help, fill out the “Application for Precious Cargo Designation on a Tennessee Registration” form on the TN Dept. of Revenue’s website and take it to your county clerk’s office: tn.gov/revenue/title-and-registration/forms.html
