On Friday afternoon at 3:25 Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to a brush fire at 707 Hwy 134 in Guild.
Upon arrival, the area was on fire and spreading. Laying hose from both engines, the fire was quickly controlled. After suppression efforts firemen conducted overhaul of hot spots. In total, about an acre and a half burned. No injuries were reported.
