On Friday March 27, 2026, 5:17 p.m. Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
Upon arrival firemen discovered the vehicle had crashed into a concrete barrier. The driver was pinned by the steering wheel. The extrication tools were immediately deployed. The driver was swiftly and carefully removed from the vehicle. The patient was in critical condition and transported to EMS to a Chattanooga hospital.
