The Chattanooga Area Food Bank’s “Fresh Food, Families and Finance Program” is coming to Sequatchie County.
Families can join a financial literacy session and an interactive farmers market on Saturday, April 11. Each participant receives over 40 pounds of food from local producers, including meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, honey, and bread. Kids use play money to purchase items at the mock market.
Pre-screening is required. Eligibility: children aged 7-17, meeting income requirements, and Tennessee residency. Location will be provided upon acceptance. Apply via this online form.
