Difficult problems for Truck Drivers in Chattanooga

Chattanooga continues to be two of the nation’s most significant bottlenecks for commercial trucking.

The American Transportation Research Institute annually publishes a list of the 100 worst locations for 18-wheelers, and the I-75 and I-24 interchange is ranked 30th for 2026.

Additionally, the I-24 and U.S. 27 interchange downtown holds the 34th position. Atlanta accounts for three of the top ten worst bottlenecks nationwide, while the I-24 and I-40 interchange in Nashville ranks seventh on the list.
