Drug Bust on Sunday by Dunlap Police

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, officers with the Dunlap Police Department observed a vehicle driving erratically on Walnut Street. A traffic stop was initiated on Old York Highway. The driver refused commands and fled on foot but was quickly located and taken into custody. He was identified as Dakota Johnston, who was found to have active warrants for Domestic Assault and Aggravated Assault Involving a Handgun.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a Glock 19 handgun, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and additional narcotics-related items. The total weight of the recovered substances was approximately 56.2 grams.
