Dunlap Fire Department reported to 2:11 PM CST to Lewis Chapel on Thursday for a mutual aid request for a vehicle fire on Henson Gap Road at the entrance to the sand plant.
Firefighters extinguished the vehicle and later returned to its department. There were no injuries in the incident.
Sequatchie County Sheriff’s deputies arrived first and provided traffic control. The vehicle was a total loss.
