The Town of Jasper celebrated America’s 250th birthday with four-day community celebration July 1 through July 4 culminating in the town’s annual “Big Boom” fireworks celebration.
The festivities began Wednesday, July 1, with a Community Church Service.
On Friday, the community gathered for a patriotic parade at 7:30 p.m., featuring local participants, decorated entries.
The celebration reached its conclusion on Saturday, July 4, with the annual Big Boom Independence Day Celebration at Jasper City Park. The River 104.9 was there and broadcasted the fireworks live on the station’s Facebook page.
