Want to learn how to climb but don’t know where to start? Fiery Gizzard State Park is offering a course showcasing the basics of rock climbing.
During this beginner-friendly introduction, you will practice your knot ties, learn climbing commands, and exercise climbing safety standards with instructor and Park Ranger Josh. You’ll then have the opportunity to apply your learning by climbing beginner-friendly sections along Foster Falls.
This course accommodates all ages! This is a great time to let yourself and your kiddos experience something new and challenging. Those younger than 15 must be accompanied by an adult. This Intro to Rock Climbing course will be on August 8th at Fiery Gizzard State Park.
