A fatal accident occurred on Monday afternoon just before 1PM. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), a 2017 Hyundai driven by 88-year-old Emily L. Harris was traveling west on Jones Crossing Road in Marion County. A 16-year-old was driving a 2017 Malibu north on Valley View Highway. The THP says the Hyundai failed to yield and two vehicles collided.
Unfortunately, Harris died from the injuries she received in the crash.The teenage driver avoided injury in the crash.
