On Sunday evening, Haletown Fire and Rescue was called to a brush fire on Hwy 134. On arrival, firemen discoveredit was old railroad ties.
Haletown worked alongside of Chattanooga Fire due to the fire being inside Hamilton County. Chattanooga Station 3 used their ladder truck to help extinguish the fire. Haletown pulled an attack line and put out the hot shots.
