$15,000 Stolen from SVEC in Altamont

While members of SVEC crew were eating lunch in Altamont between 11 and 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, approximately $15,000 worth of tools and equipment were stolen from a SVEC truck.
Among the items taken were several Milwaukee and STIHL brand tools and equipment, and a spool of copper wire.
SVEC is asking anyone who may have been in the area during that time and witnessed suspicious activity, or who has any information that could help identify those responsible, to please come forward.
SVEC is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft.
