TSSAA Announces 26-27 Football Classifications

The TSSAA has announced the classifications for 2026-2027 high school sports. For football, Whitwell (284 students) and South Pittsburg (285) easily remain in Class 1A.

In Class 2A, Bledsoe County makes it in with (435), Grundy County squeezes in with 480 students and Marion County is the last team to qualify with 504. Sequatchie County was just over 2A and will remain in Class 3A with 522 students.

The official districts will come out next week. We will update other sports classifications, soon.
