Marion County 47, Monterey 0: The Warriors defense dominated Monterey. They held their opponent to minus-5 rushing yards on 30 attempts and just 54 total yards. Colin Beason was 7-of-14 passing for 111 passing yards, with Zaiden Humphrey totaling 73 receiving yards on four catches. T.J. Starkey led the ground game with 63 yards and a score. Marion County remains unbeaten at 5-0.
Bledsoe County 35, Polk County 0: The Warriors rushed for 296 yards in the win. Marcos Ramirez led Bledsoe’s offense with 87 yards on 12 carries. They are 5-1 on the season.
Whitwell 30, Copper Basin 0: Whitwell (2-4, 2-0) was led by Gabe Ross led the way with 146 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the Tigers held Copper Basin (0-6, 0-1) to 74 yards on 37 carries.
Forrest 39, Sequatchie County 36: The Indians lost to a state-ranked opponent for a third time this season, this time the No. 4 Rockets. Sequatchie County, ranked 10th, fell to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the region.
York Institute 48, Grundy County 47: The Dragons scored the winning touchdown with 40 seconds remaining to upset the 10th-ranked Yellow Jackets. Vince Bryant scored four touchdowns, including an 80-yard run. Grundy is now 5-1/0-1. In their first 5 games they had only allowed 9 points to their 297 points
