A juvenile has been charged after a loaded firearm was found on the campus of Tyner Middle High Academy.
On the morning of September 30, 2026, school administrators searched a student’s vehicle after a parent raised concerns about a possible firearm on campus. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said deputies found a loaded AR-15 inside the vehicle, seized the firearm, and took the 17-year-old suspect into custody.
