Pirates get Forfeit Win; The River 104.9 to air Marion County Football

The South Pittsburg Pirates has received information that Red Boiling Springs has elected to forfeit Friday night’s scheduled 1st round playoff game.

The Pirates will move to 10-1 on the season and will play the winner of the Jellico vs Rockwood game in the 2nd round of the playoffs on November 13th.

The high school also moved Senior night to the 13th. The school stated they are sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to South Pittsburg being cancel The River 104.9 will broadcast the Marion County game. The Warriors (10-0) will host Trousdale County (4-6).
