In an effort to keep a long-standing tradition in the area alive that started with the former Jasper Journal and South Pittsburg Hustler newspapers and continued most recently with the Marion County News before it ceased publication earlier this year;  SValleyNow.com (Sequatchie Valley Now), along with parent company Tennessee Valley Broadcasting and WEPG and WSDQ radio is proud to announce that after securing the rights to the awards,  we are the new home for ‘The Best in the Sequatchie Valley’ readers choice awards!

The annual reader’s choice contest allows readers to nominate area businesses, organizations, and people across multiple categories for the prestigious award.  Categories include restaurants, barbers, stylists, churches, schools, teachers, lawyers, doctors, and more.

Nominations will open online in February 2024 with voting thereafter and winners announced in late April.

The Best in the Sequatchie Valley awards are open to all area businesses and organizations in the Sequatchie Valley and provides unique marketing opportunities to area businesses despite participation.
