Local Retired Paramedic Wins National Award

The American Ambulance Association (AAA) is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Vanguard Awards. The Vanguards honor those who blazed the trail for fellow women EMS professionals. Sixteen winners represent a diverse group of dedicated individuals who have significantly contributed to mobile healthcare.

Tennessee has one winner, and it is Vicki Messer | Paramedic, retired | Jasper, TN

The winners will receive complimentary registration to the American Ambulance Association Annual Conference & Trade Show in Nashville, TN, April 22-24. They will also be recognized at the President’s Reception on the evening of April 23, and their profiles will be featured on the AAA website and social media.
