Raid Results in Arrest of Marion County Man

On Wednesday, January 8th, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Marion County SWAT and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office personnel joined forces to take Kyle Colston into custody on multiple outstanding arrest warrants.

Colston had active warrants for a parole violation, evading arrest, and being a convicted felon in possession of firearms. He is also a suspect in several open investigations in the Jump-Off community. Those investigations include thefts, burglaries, and arson.

Dozens of firearms were seized from Colston’s residence in Marion County at the time of the arrest.
