Grundy County Deputies Make Drug Bust

On Monday, January 20, 2025, deputies with the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office were patrolling the Gruetli-Laager area when they spotted a stolen vehicle. Deputies stopped the car, ordered the driver to exit, and were able to take 36-year-old Jonathan Creek into custody without incident.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies located a bag containing a crystal white substance suspected to be methamphetamine. The approximate weight of the substance is 1.3 pounds. Creek was also found in possession of $15,960 in cash that was seized.

Creek was transported to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and booked on multiple charges.
