On Tuesday morning, the Dunlap Fire Department responded to a single-car accident on SB Hwy 111 on Lewis Chapel Mountain. A pickup truck with two occupants inside was found on its side in a drainage ditch. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and removed the roof to rescue them. Puckett EMS transported the victims with non-life-threatening injuries.
