New Girls’ Basketball Coach Named at Marion County High School

Marion County High School has appointed Alex Spence as the head coach of the Lady Warriors basketball program. Now, former Head Coach Brandon Harmon has accepted the job as head football coach at Coffee County High School in Manchester, TN.

Coach Spence played collegiate basketball at Covenant College before transferring to Middle Tennessee State University, where she obtained her Mathematics and Secondary Education degree.

Her coaching experience includes two seasons as an assistant coach for the MTCS Lady Cougars, during which she contributed to the team’s State Championship appearance. Most recently, she was an Algebra I teacher and assistant coach at Community High School.

Coach Spence is joining Marion County in teaching and coaching capacities, aiming to develop the Lady Warriors Basketball team.
