The Jasper History Museum reminds everyone to attend The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and Missionary Ridge Camp 63, a solemn and respectful Grave Marking Ceremony honoring the life and service of Union soldiers Christopher C. Myers and Reuben Warren, this Saturday, May 3rd, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jasper, beginning at 11 a.m. CT. This ceremony is part of our ongoing mission to preserve the memory of those who served in defense of the Union and to educate the public about the sacrifices made to protect our nation.
Through readings, historical tributes, and the dedication of new markers, we recognize the valor and patriotism of the soldiers being honored. Civic leaders, veterans, descendants, and public members are invited to stand together in remembrance and gratitude.
