Fire Burns Home on Handcock Road in Haletown

Early Sunday morning at 1:45, Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire on Hancock Rd in Jasper. Jasper Highlands and Jasper Fire departments were called to the scene for mutual aid. Fire Rehab Services responded to assist the firefighters.

After an intense attack to save a portion of the house, the fire was contained and extinguished, and all residents were able to escape the blaze safely.
