Dunlap Police reminds the public that any person who operates a vehicle in a manner that is willfully or deliberately dangerous or displays a blatant disregard for the safety of others or their property is guilty of reckless driving.

Rumors are floating around that the mayor has stated that he would fire any officer who writes a citation on the 4th of July. These rumors are false!

Chief of Police Randy Phillips says that the mayor has not and will not tell the police how to do their job. “Neither the mayor nor I have the authority to give anyone permission to break the law.”
