Broadcaster Larry Ward to Throw Out Final First Pitch at AT&T Field on Sunday

The Chattanooga Lookouts will mark the conclusion of an era on Sunday afternoon. Veteran broadcaster Larry Ward will deliver the final ceremonial first pitch at AT&T Field during the last regular-season game.

Larry Ward has been a distinguished presence in Chattanooga sports media for many years. He has served as the voice of the Chattanooga Lookouts since 1989 and spent 26 seasons with the UTC Lady Mocs before retiring from that role in 2024.

Given his extensive background in sports broadcasting, it is appropriate for Mr. Ward to commemorate the closing of the AT&T Field chapter.

Community members are encouraged to support the Chattanooga Lookouts at this event as they face the Birmingham Barons and prepare for their transition to Erlanger Park next season.
