On Thursday afternoon (February 19,2026) at 4:39 p.m. Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to a single vehicle incident, which was leaking fuel on the roadway. At the 8000 block of Hwy 41.

Upon arrival firemen found a utility truck tilted to one side in a ditch. The auxiliary fuel tank mounted to the bed was where the fuel was leaking from. After making sure of no flames, Haletown Fire and Rescue began the process of working up around the fuel spill.

Shortly after THP arrived and took over the scene. No injuries were reported.
