Fire Alarm at Jasper Highlands

Early Monday morning at 1:30 am, during the severe thunderstorm, Jasper Highlands Fire Department to a fire alarm at a home on Jasper Highlands Boulevard.

Upon arrival, firemen used thermal imaging cameras to look for a hidden fire and ultimately located no fire.

The investigation showed that the fire alarm was apparently triggered by rainwater entering a smoke detector, penetrating the house due to the high winds. No damage occurred.
